"Faith in Action!" Programme

As part of the Dublin Diocese Year of Evangelisation (29th June 2009 - 27th Nov 2010) YCW have developed a new programme for use by young adults entitled "Faith in Action! A Gospel Enquiry Programme based on St. Luke's Gospel".

 

 

A Gospel Enquiry Programme based on St. Luke's Gospel

 

Faith in Action! consists of six sessions centred on the following passages from Luke's Gospel:

 

  • Jesus calls the first disciples
  • The Good Samaritan
  • Jesus visits Martha and Mary
  • The Prodigal Son
  • Jesus calls Levi
  • Jesus' Mission

Using the YCW method of See, Judge, Act, the programme helps you to reflect on the Gospel and to take action in your daily life. Thus bringing the message and values of the Gospel right up to date and making it relevant to today's young adults.

 

With its easy to follow layout, Faith in Action! provides all you need to begin the journey into St. Luke's Gospel and is a great way to enter into the Year of Evangelisation. The programme provides tips for success to assist you in getting started, background information on each of the chosen passages and takes you step by step through theSee, Judge, Act method of analysis.
